Hangdog Climbing Gym

Hangdog Climbing Gym is located in the Wollongong region of NSW. It is the perfect place for indoor rock climbing and just spending quality time with your friends and family.

I found their prices quite reasonable and as there is no time limit on how long a person can climb for, I would say you're getting quite a bargain.

The activities available at Hangdog ranges from wall climbing, a small indoor gym upstairs, climbing boulders, caving and so much more. The staff members are super welcoming and they teach you everything you need to know in order to have a safe and fun time at Hangdog.

Also, if you're an university student, be sure to visit on Tuesday nights from 5-9pm. Uni nights allow students to climb at a cheaper price with free harness hire. Not only that, but Uni nights also provide students with free pizza. However, the only thing I would say is that, do not come with an empty stomach as the pizza will run out within less than 5 minutes due to the amount of people who are climbing that night. In saying that, Hangdog is literally only a 5-10 minute drive away from town, so going to pick up food or getting food delivered to Hangdog, is definitely not a challenge if you're still hungry.

My friends and I definitely recommend this place to people who are looking to be active all the while having a blast. It is definitely also a family fun place and they are opened 7 days of the week. You can find out more information at their website located here.
