Carriageworks

Carriageworks is a contemporary arts exhibition in Australia and reflects its social and cultural diversity. Carriageworks is currently located at 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from Redfern Station. More information about Carriageworks can be found on their website here.

However, the Katharina Grosse exhibition ends this Sunday, on April 8th, 2018. The 21st Biennale of Sydney exhibition ends 11th of June 2018 so you can still visit this for a few more months.

Carriageworks is definitely a must go place for individuals who are into art and can appreciate the hard work of the artists. It is perfect for a simple and chill day out with friends, and while you're at it, you can enjoy the food at the Cornerstone Bar and Food, which is located right outside. This location is also perfect if you just want a day to yourself. However, I do not recommend this place if you're looking for something fun and exhilarating. The atmosphere of this place is calm and soothing. Definitely something to look into as well, if you want to experience something different. It is also an A+ place for aesthetics.
